Also known as the 'Resurrection Plant', the Rose of Jericho is one of the most fascinating houseplants out there. It’s incredibly easy to care for because it can dry out completely and “come back to life” with just a short soak in water. Every month, give your Rose of Jericho a week without water to dry out a little bit and store it in a cool, dark place (paper bag ideal) until you are ready to water it and see the magic again.

Please note: what you are familiar with (and what we sell) when it comes to Rose of Jericho is actually the 'Selaginella Lepidophylla' aka 'False Rose of Jericho' or 'Dinosaur Plant. “True” Rose of Jericho hails from the Middle East (i.e. Jericho) and is less common than Selaginella Lepidophylla. It’s also considered less attractive.
