Refund & Exchange Policy

At Salt Your Soul Gift Co., all sales are final unless otherwise noted below.
1. Non-Plant Items
Non-plant items may be exchanged for store credit within 14 days of purchase.
To be eligible for an exchange, items must be:
- Unused and in the same condition you received them
- In original packaging, if applicable
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
To request an exchange, please contact us at hello@saltyoursoul.com. Items sent back without first contacting us will not be accepted.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Non-Plant Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
3. Live Plant Policy
We want you to be a successful plant parent!
Live plants naturally experience some stress during shipping, and minor cosmetic imperfections, bent leaves, or yellowing leaves may occur during transit. We take great care in packaging plants securely to help them arrive safely and healthy.
Because shipping conditions are outside of our control once the package leaves our hands, we require an unboxing video for any claims related to shipping damage or plant condition.
Important Requirements for Plant Orders

Record an unboxing video.
Please take a clear video while opening your plant package. If there are any issues with your order, the video must be emailed to hello@saltyoursoul.com within 24 hours of delivery. -
Allow your plant time to acclimate.
Do not immediately prune, repot, chop, or remove your plant from its nursery pot after arrival. Plants need time to adjust to their new environment. -
Pest prevention.
All plants are treated for pests and watered prior to shipping. However, pests can occur in any environment, so ongoing plant care and monitoring are recommended. -
Watering guidance.
A good rule of thumb is to water when the nursery pot feels very light. Water thoroughly and allow the plant to drain completely before returning it to its decorative pot or space. -
Shipping stress is normal.
Some yellowing leaves, minor cosmetic damage, or temporary drooping may happen during transit. These issues are often part of the acclimation process and do not necessarily mean the plant is unhealthy.
