Our Lit Kids have spent the summer reading, tracking their minutes, earning prizes, and absolutely crushing their reading goals — so now it’s time to celebrate!

The Lit Kids Club End of Summer Ice Cream Float Party is free for kids who registered for our Summer Reading Program and tracked 10 hours or more of reading between June 1 and July 31.

During the party, Lit Kids can:

• Build their own ice cream float with a variety of sodas and ice cream
• Pick up any Lit Kids Club prizes they’ve earned
• Complete earned activities they haven’t gotten to yet, including Paint-a-Pot and/or a Mini Moss Terrarium
• Enter to win even more prizes, including DIY grow kits, ice cream bath bombs, Culver’s ice cream coupons, Moss Wall gift certificates, and more

We’ll also have a very special guest! Local children’s author Brenda M. Spalding will be joining us to read her book Sailing Away to Nod, winner of an Eyelands International Book Award in Greece.

Admission is FREE for qualifying Lit Kids Club members.

Bringing a sibling, friend, or another kiddo who wasn’t part of Lit Kids Club? They’re welcome (as well as adults!) to join the party for $5 each.
